15TH CENTURY HAND-AND-A-HALF FULL TANG TEMPERED BATTLE READY HAND FORGED MEDIEVAL SWORD

The Hand and a Half sword was a unique weapon with good attributes from both the claymore and a short sword. It was small enough to be used with one hand while the other had a buckler or shield. Yet when the need came you could use both hands for a much more powerful blow. Yet the sword has a wide blade for powerful cuts while featuring a sharp point to penetrate armor joints and chain mail. 

This sword is made from 1060 High Carbon Steel with a almost straight cruciform cross-guard and circular top like pommel. Both the Pommel and the guard are made of steel for extreme durability. The grip is wooden that has a faux leather wrapping on it for a secure handling. A fuller runs down the middle almost 3/4 length of the blade. This sword is full tang, peened and mildly sharp. Included is a wooden scabbard with a leather wrap and aluminium locket and chape. This sword is fully functional and battle ready.
